Mike founded Estate Shutter in London, Ontario in 2021 and still shoots. He holds a Transport Canada Advanced RPAS Operator Certificate, which is what allows Estate Shutter to fly the controlled airspace that covers much of London, Kitchener-Waterloo and the western GTA. He sets the shot list and editing standard every shoot in the network is delivered against.
Beyond London, Estate Shutter works with a vetted network of independent real estate photographers and editors across Southwestern Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area. That is how a Windsor listing and a Mississauga listing can both be shot on short notice without either one waiting on a single calendar.
Every partner shoots to the same brief and delivers into the same editing pipeline, so the photos look like Estate Shutter's regardless of who pressed the shutter. Aerial work is flown under Mike's Transport Canada Advanced RPAS Operator Certificate.
